15.35 Fallujah. US TROOPS ABANDON POSITIONS NORTH OF FALLUJA General Mohammed Latif has taken control of the Golan quarter of Falluja, destroyed by US bombing.

14.55 Paris. FRENCH TV SHOWS US HELICOPTER CREW GUNNING CIVILIANS. Canal Plus in France is scheduled to broadcast a video taped by US military showing a helicopter crew killing unarmed civilians who appear to present no threat. The contractors say they stole the tape from US personnel on the base where they worked and were housed.
