Video Smuggled out of Fallujah

Juan Cole at Informed Comment reports that the Italian weekly, Il Diario, has made a video of the devastated and nearly razed to the ground Iraqi city of Fallujah.

This video was given to Italian weekly magazine Diario by the Studies Center for Human Rights and Democracy of Falluja. Il Diario devoted its May 27, 2005 issue to broad investigation on November assault on the city by the US military.

Il Diario is the publication for which kidnapped reporter Enzo Baldoni worked for until his slaying by unknown individuals in mysterious circumstances near Kufa last summer as he was reporting from a Red Cross Convoy returning from Najaf during the conflict there.
