Ski Dubai




Bigger than three football stadiums, with ski trails inside giant metal tubes 35 feet wide, it is the world's largest indoor ski park. The $272 million Ski Dubai will open on December 14th, with room enough for 1,500 skiiers.

Don't hold yer breath. There are what we heating and ventilating engineers call technical problems. The opneing has been what we publicists call "pre - announced" several times already.

One thing the Dubai boosters are good at is publicity - Palm islands with no houses, Arabian Ranches housing development that you wouldn't keep a dog in - of course any local criticism is curiously absent.
