Maliki orders an assassination?

With the crimson torrents of assassinations and murders in Iraq by "unknown armed men", can you really point the finger? However, this one suggests an inside job and possibly a Maliki-ordered assassination by Badr Brigades gunmen:

Riyad Al-Nouri, 37, Moqtada al-Sadr's brother-in-law and principal protagonist in Sadr's movement, was ambushed and murdered as he returned to his home in the Al-Adal district of Najaf.
