Another desperate situation is unfolding in New Orleans -- this time, at the city's international airport. Thousands of people are still in a medical triage center there, and many of them are dying because of a lack of medical care.

I picked up the NYT this a.m., saw that photo and sort of went into a trance -- I mean it was like I lost consciousness. I don't know how long I stared at it.

No more arguing with the wingnuts, no more hope in the Clintons, the Kerrys, the Reids. We have got to stand up, each and every one of us and take back our country.

New Orleans, not 911, was the turning point. The country will never be the same again -- we have to make sure of that.
