Don't think that a damned thing has changed in Afghanistan
The Western effort there doesn't mean a thing:
An Afghan journalist held in prison for three months has been condemned to death by the First Court of Northern Afghanistan for "blasphemy". The family of Perwiz Kambakhsh, 23, received written notification of the death sentence handed down by the court in Balkh Province. The trial was held behind closed doors.
