Hijab Now Official Police Uniform

London Policewomen in Hijab.

Via Mille et Un Jours. The Metropolitan Police in London has accepted Hijab as a uniform option for Muslim women serving in the force. The announcement was made at a conference on the theme of “Protect and Respect: Everybody’s Benefit”.

Meanwhile in Rome, the unabashedly fascist Interior Minister Giuseppe Pisanu's security decree banning the wearing of the burqa and the chador in public in Italy has been struck down by a Treviso court.

"In the above picture two models Shahnaz Shashudin and Syria Hussain are modeling hijab uniform for women police constables in front of New Scotland Yard, the headquarters of the London Metropolitan Police."

So, it does not appear that there are actually any hijab wearing muslim ladies on the force.
