Olmert thinks he's the UN Secretary-General

Would you listen to Ehud Olmert? UN peace contingent cannot be led by France, Italian contingent must deploy to the Syrian border, no troops from any Muslim country, no Lebanese troops unless accompanied by UN troops, command must be Italian.

Pathetic.

Olmered is 1001% right. I'm just as picky with my domestic staff, when they clear up my mess as well.

I mean would you have an Albanian clean your toilet ?

Interesting comment about no troops from Muslim nations. This is obviously pointed at Malaysia and Indonesia, who've already promised troops.

During the last month or so, Israel has been trying rather unsuccessfully to open up diplomacy with Malaysia on various issues, but because of the invasion of Lebanon, this has been politically impossible at home for the Malaysian government.

Checking to see whether I needed a special visa to visit Malaysia (Americans don't), I discovered that Israelis are only allowed in to Malaysia with the permission of the Malaysian Defense Ministry or something close to that.
