Popular Resistance

From L'Orient-Le Jour (Beirut).

Women in Hanoun, Gaza Strip, offer themselves as human shields to save their sons and husbands, inside a mosque, from Tsahal. The Israelis shot dead two of them. How many of us love so much that we would have the courage to pay the price in blood?

Yes it is quite a leaf for the "Palestinian nation"; the brave palestinian "fighters" hiding behind the skirts of women, dressing up as women to try to flee, and firing at the IDF soldiers from among the crowd of women (a war crime, by the way).

As opposed to those brave Israeli soldiers who would shoot into a crowd of unarmed women, killing two. That's a war crime. btw.

First of all, the women made themsleves de facto combatants by their actions, so shooting them wouls not be any kind of war crime.
And secondly, the soldiers did not "shoot into a crowd", otherwise there would be a lot more than 2 dead.

- Nudnik,

You're a disgrace to the Pharisaic persuasion- no maigre feat in itself!

- Nur,

Congrats for the House and for the Senate too (long live Jim Webb!) my dear freethinking Floridian friend.

As the man said, it's "time we got our country back" from the hands of the princes of Saudi Arabia and the kings of Yitzrael...

Let's hope Rummy and the other Neocon rats will soon join their friend Abramoff in some dirty DC jail!
