Baghdad Burning on Broadway

Well, off-off-Broadway, actually. NY Newsday reports that Iraqi blogger Riverbend has inspired a play, to open tomorrow.

"Girl Blog" will have six workshop performances, beginning today, as part of the "Women Center Stage 2005" festival at the Culture Project in Manhattan's East Village.

"Girl Blog from Iraq: Baghdad Burning," at the Culture Project's 45 Below Theatre, 45 Bleecker St., Manhattan, today, tomorrow and Aug. 20-24. Tickets $15. Call 212-352-3101.
