Wolf Blitzer, what's he good for?

He's good for this:

Blitzer: Why did McCain release his medical records?

Correspondent 1: That's because he's elderly, Wolf, and there were concerns about his health if he were to serve President. He used to be a 2-pack-a-day smoker.

Blitzer: What about Obama? He's an on-and-off smoker, isn't he?

Correspondent 1: Why, yes, Wolf, he is.

Blitzer: Nicotine is just as addictive as cocaine, isn't that right? What do you think, Correspondent 2?

Correspondent 2: Oh yes, indeed, just as addictive as cocaine...

Not one of Wolf's better moments. Come to think of it, does he have any better moments?

Well, this is the usual method of starting shit in the US media. The seemingly brainless mumblings of a nitwitted anchor-"thing" can snowball out of control and create an unnecessary campaign crisis, or, worst case scenario, end someone's career.
