Saddam's Rape Room

So what do you call a room where a man's "genitals [are] slashed repeatedly with a doctor's scalpel" and a woman is summoned in to photograph the wounds? Only something the DoD could dream up, that's for certain, validating J.M. Coetzee's story of the DoD torture photo archivist gone insane. See the story here.

I guess I should read the riot act, too

I wish I hadn't followed the link. We have just had video recording of the Canadian youth being interviewed at Gitmo that has just been released on national TV.

Apparently he spent 3 weeks being moved from his cell to another one (solitary) for 3 hours at a stretch - they called this the Frequent Flyer programme.

I am sure Mr Yoo has name for it and Mr Mukasey will eventually get round to considering if it is torture.
